No thesis work for today (i was in research/sketch phase this past week) but here’s a promotional piece I made for the story I’m working on for advanced concept art!

Really large gif piece I did for two very sweet and patient guys.

This miiight take a while for you to load, apologies to those trying to view it on phones.

Nancy Drew illustration for Arielle’s new zine Ladies of Literature!!  The theme was to create a piece focusing on either female literary characters or authors.  Back in first grade, my mom introduced both my sister and I to the Nancy Drew series and it got us sucked into the entire mystery genre, I remember going through both the original series and all those spinoffs that they now have (and the computer games haha).  Because the book series always had an actual human perpetrator behind everything, I wanted to make this look a little bit more ~mysterious~.

Look out for the zine sometime in the fall by either tracking the tag or following the tumblr blog, it will be sold online with the proceeds going towards charity organizations that promote classroom reading!  There’s over 30 amazing artists who are contributing to the zine so be sure to check it out!!
